OVERVIEW

The Objective

You are a simple robot running on a depleting power supply. In this turn-based puzzle game, your goal is to manage a chaotic grid of resources to gather 100 Energy Units and power the exit to the next level.

Every move counts. You lose 1 energy per turn, and the board fills with new pieces every other turn. If you can't keep your intake higher than your consumption, it’s game over.

The game is designed to be played using a combination of keyboard and mouse controls.

GAME LOOP

The Cycle of Power

Success depends on managing the lifetime of the components on the board. You cannot simply pick up energy; you must manufacture it.

  • Combine: Merge an Empty Battery with an Energy piece to create a Loaded Battery.
  • Collect: Moving onto a Loaded Battery grants you +5 Energy.
  • Time Management: All pieces have a limited lifespan. You must act before they expire.

The Threat of Entropy

Inefficiency creates obstacles. If you fail to manage the lifecycles of your pieces, the board will turn against you:

  • Dead Batteries (Trash): If an Empty Battery expires before you charge it, it dies. Dead batteries are Trash. They block movement and provide zero energy. You must waste valuable turns cleaning them up to clear the path.
  • Degradation: If you take too long to collect a Loaded Battery, it loses its charge and reverts back to an Empty Battery, forcing you to start the process over.
  • Decay: Unused Energy pieces simply vanish into thin air if not captured quickly.
